"M.O.B.sters" head to "Death Valley"
The MOBsters all got together for a three day ride to Death Valley. The wind never quit blowing, the weather not got warm except for the time spent in Furnace Creek and at Scotty's Castle. It's just not fun riding in the hard cold wind. Now that's if you ask a women, ask the guys who are posing by their bikes and they will ride anywhere, anytime, fast and furious.
We stayed at a little place in the Desert called Armagos Valley at the Longstreet Inn. Which by the way is the only place in the in this little valley that boast the biggest cow ever. Holy-Cow!
Our group, Mormons On Bikes has grown a tad-bit. We had great fun together on our road trip to the lowest and hottest spot around.
The "Girls" pose for a picture as we overlook the lowest spot in Death Valley.
We ventured to "Scotty's Castle" in California. Doug and I hiked up to the hill just behind the castle where "Scotty" is buried.
Doug was hopeful as he posed here at the Golf Course in "Furnace Creek" - the name of the place tells you how hot it gets here in the summer. A Golf Course out in the middle of absolutely nowhere. Nope he didn't get to golf, but we had a bite to eat at the "19th Hole" burger joint.

What I learned from General Conference
1. Seek Heavens help when speaking or giving a talk
2. The priesthood will lose it's Power if the sisters are neglected
3. With personal revelation we can navigate thru all of life.
4. Duty does not require perfection
5. The true source of Hope is Faith in Jesus Christ.
6. Parents and Children - listen to and learn from each other in the home.
7. Heavenly Father has sent us directions and rescuers along the path of life.
8. We must be Rescuers.
9. It is our sacred duty to do our very best.
10. Study the scriptures carefully and deliberately.
11. We are so blessed to have the sacred text of conference talks, for they are modern scrpitures
12. Faithful obedience, regardless of how difficult, brings blessings. Partial obedience brings no blessings.
13. Are we anxiously engaged in helping our children learn to ask, seek and knock?
14. "lust" is the most deadly sin, it defiles the relationships of true love.

25. Do our children know what we know, bare our testimonies.
26. We must always go back for our stray loved ones.
27. We need to recognize the good that comes from each experience.
28. Worldly judgement should not be used in spiritual decisions.
29. Replace fear with faith.
30. "Tell me the stories of Jesus that I long to hear."

All Dressed in White-RS celebration
We had a beautiful evening with the RS sisters and the YW in our ward. Dinner and the program "All dressed in White" was combined with our Humanitarian project of collecting 100 dresses to donate to our sisters around the world. We actually ended up with close to 200 dresses. Danelle Dinning wrote a beautiful program for me and I had some young women and some sisters perform a couple of touching songs. You really had to be there to appreciate the wonderful spirit that was felt and the beauty that was performed. A SHOUT-OUT of thanks to all of you who participated in any way. It was an amazing evening.
